I experienced being one of the MUA's for a Catwalk Show for the first time last weekend.
The Creative Link CEO Joella Olivia hosted the launch of The Azarie- Jordan Foundation, in loving memory of her baby girl who sadly was still born in the summer of 2021.
The Foundation aims to support research, hospital treatments and support for pregnant women of all ages and backgrounds. The event also featured talks from Edwards trust, based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, who aims to support women holistically through bereavement and loss.
The Catwalk showcased clothing from local designers and they also had performances from local artists Lil T Wizzy, Lickle Jay and more.
I managed to do 4 full face makeups for models and a few bits for another 2. It wasn't as hectic or as stressful as I thought it would be, I am grateful for the experience.
After the showcase the event swiftly turned into party vibes as we celebrated the 30th Birthday of Joella Olivia.
